White Wine Glass

Nord Sud Viognier / IGP Pays d’Oc France / Viognier / Laurent Miguel: Medium body, dry. Caramel apple, peach, green apple.

Viognier is a highly underrated grape. It can have caramel, toast, or even cake flavors along with bold ripe fruits. This IGP wine has grown Viognier in a non-indigenous area—luckily, the hot weather where these grapes grew gives more juicy ripeness, and hence a bolder fruit-forward wine. The finish on this wine is mineral, almost like wet rock. Think of this wine as your “Fall Festival” wine—you want to cozy up to a fireplace with it. The creaminess of viognier pairs well with Icelandic lobster, spicy foods, curry, and popcorn!
