Bründlmayer Grüner Veltliner, Kamptal Austria

This is a great summer white wine, and I’m excited to add it to the newly updated Klaustur Bar wine list! Austria has over 4000 years of winemaking history, and Grüner Veltliner is the most widely planted grape there. Wines from this grape can have bright acidic fruits, as well as a spicy peppery note. I find both of these keep my palate refreshed, awake, and thirsting for more on a warm sunny day. This wine is medium body, spicy. Lime zest, white pepper, mineral on the nose. Palate of lemon zest, pear, white pepper. Amazing value at less than 3.000 ISK at ATVR.
