Disznoko Furmint, Tokaj Hungary

In the mood to experiment? You may have seen a post I wrote on sweet Tokaji wines here. This wine is the dry version, made from the Furmint grape in Hungary. It is light body, and funky. A bit of grass, pine needle, and rubber on the nose. Palate of sour apple, tennis ball, and flinty mineral. I absolutely love sweet Tokaji wines; this dry wine is alternative, a conversation starter, and a whimsical reminder to not take yourself too seriously.
