Let me preface this by saying that I don’t think Sloe Gin is “my thing”. It is a very particular taste, and I suspect that you either love it, or you hate it. That said, Monkey 47 Sloe Gin is the best of the sloe gins I have tasted…but I’m not sure it’s “my thing”. To be brutally honest, this gin tastes like the cherry cough drops I would nab out of my grandmother’s old handbag when I was young. I recommend some blackberry and mint to add acidity and freshness to it. If you have a better recommendation on how to enjoy this Sloe Gin I would love to hear it!
